ChinaConduct offers cross-cultural awareness training. People become aware of their own cultural background as well as the cultural background of their colleagues and partners. Insight and an open attitude are the fundamental building stones for good cooperation. The goal of our trainings is to come to a more efficient cooperation between people from different cultures.

ChinaConduct offers cross-cultural awareness training with a focus on China for Westerners, or with a focus on Europe for non-Europeans. We also provide cross-cultural awareness training to international groups without a focus on any specific area.

Our training is based on academic research and many years of experience in the field. We continuously update our knowledge and methods.

We offer tailor-made in-company cross-cultural training. Your company sets the goal and focus of the training on the basis of the specific requirements of the participants. We develop the in-company training by preparatory interviews and discussion with you. On the basis of your input and our advice we develop what you need.

We also organize a one-day workshop with open subscriptions on a regular basis: ‘The Essence of Doing Business in China’ (For dates see Courses in English and Dutch).

In this workshop you gain insight in Chinese thinking, Chinese society, relationships and networking in China (guanxi), interference of the Chinese government in business, Chinese corporate culture, time management, conflict management, project working, decision making process, specific features of the ‘market economy with Chinese characteristics’, negotiating with Chinese, Chinese strategic thinking, dealing with information in China, business etiquette.
